1. Explore Central Market Hall

6. Get entertained on a Saturday Night at Erzsevet Square

This is the central square in Downtown Budapest where a lot of people visit to experience a Hungarian night life. This place is always buzzing and summer festivals are also held here. Sit on the grass and enjoy a bottle of beer, go people watching, and listen to a live alternative band. Live like a real Hungarian and slip your feet into the water while devouring a great book!

7. Have a Stroll Along the Danube

Watching the sunset on the Danube is a must in Budapest. Ditch the expensive cruise and have a stroll on the Buda side while enjoying your own booze. Watch the illuminated Hungarian Parliament building which is so Instagrammable. Walk farther to the Chain Bridge then cross over into Pest. This World Heritage Site is divided into four parts housing amazing neo-renaissance palaces and houses. You can start from Elizabeth Square to Oktogon which has commercial buildings, the Opera House, shops and the Liszt Ferenc Square. Continue to Heroes’ Square and learn more about Hungary’s history and explore Szechenyi Thermal Bath and Vajdahunyad Castle.
