REVOLVER GALLERY INVITES YOU TO EXPERIENCE ANDY WARHOL COLLECTION.

Andy Warhol is best described as a “mirror of his age.” He built his career on appropriation of famous imagery and products, fostering of personal celebrity, and his contributions to the Pop Art movement. Through his screenprints, paintings, writing and film, Warhol challenged the American public to reevaluate the meaning of art in a post-war consumer culture. His art and philosophy are intrinsically tied to American culture. Over a span of more than three decades, Andy Warhol crafted a body of work still celebrated today, more than 25 years after his death.

ANDY WARHOL: REVISITED is an exhibition that celebrates the iconic artist’s work with over 200 works of Andy Warhol prints and paintings. The staff at the gallery share antidotes and stories about Warhol and how his works came to be. The exhibition is free to the public (by reservation) starting February 14, exactly 30 years after his death.

Revolver Gallery has a one-artist program exclusively dealing with Andy Warhol’s prints and paintings, making it the only of its kind. The gallery also has the largest collection of the artist’s works worldwide, with over 250 works owned by the gallery.
