Every year, colorful Filipino lanterns light up the street during the San Francisco Parol Lantern Festival and Parade, organized by the Bayanihan Community Center (BCC) in the SoMa district.
Before the parade on December 10, they will be having a free parol-making workshop together with the amazing Filipino community in SF.
The workshop will be held at the Bayanihan Community Center this Friday, October 21, 2016 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Aside from the free admission, you will also get one free lantern. If it’s your first time to make one, there’s no charge to make your first parol.
Also catch the free workshop on October 28 and on November 4, 11, 18 and December 2.
