Witness the greatest and the most extreme Stand Up Paddling race in the planet, Red Bull Heavy Water, which is the opening of this year’s World Championship Series that takes place today, September 1, at Ocean Beach Fulton, San Francisco, California.

You can watch the athletes rip the waves for free from September 1 to 28, depending on surf conditions. 40 of the world’s best SUP athletes will take an intense 12-kilometer course with waves reaching over a hundred feet, battling the surf from Ocean beach to the Golden Gate Bridge.

This year, the featured atheletes are Kai Lenny, one of the world’s best watermen who likes kiteboarding, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, big-wave surfing, or anything else, and Nicole Pacelli who was born in Guarujá, Brazil, moved to São Paulo and grew up ripping the waves of Maresias.
