You can never go wrong with the Bellagio Fountains. Enjoy the water dancing with the accompaniment of the songs of Frank Sinatra and Celine Dion. Shows are usually every half hour in the afternoon and every 15 minutes during the evening. Take note, this is a perfect romantic place for a date!

Try new wines at Rock ‘N Roll Wine Tastings

Sign up for the Rock ‘N Roll Wine list in advance for free wine tastings every Thursday night. What’s making it more fun is that it happens in multiple locations, from the Artisan Lounge to VICE VERSA to Vdara. Bottoms up!

Watch a volcano erupt

The Mirage
A volcano in the middle of Vegas, how is that? Well, not really. It’s just some sort of made by The Mirage that could make loud explosions, shoot fire and spew lava that could make people wonder what’s happening on the Strip. Shows take place every half hour at night and it’s pretty cool though.

Drink whiskey at Vom Fass

The Venetian
There’s this cool little wine shop called Vom Fass that offers in-house selection of wines and spirits from all over the world. They have their kegs with the samples that you can try anytime! Not just that, they also have some sort of an informal class called The Whiskey Experience where you can enjoy tasting bourbon, Irish Whiskey and Scotch and learn about how they’re made, so make sure to go there on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7pm.

Go for a hike

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
Clearly, Las Vegas is not just about casinos and lap dances. You can also enjoy the beauty of nature and hike at Red Rock Canyon. A little tip though, Visit the place on mornings or late afternoons when the sun’s no too high to avoid the worst desert heat.

Go to Sake Mondays at Katsuya

The trick is to visit Katsuya on the last Monday of every month for free samples of sake. You can also head straight to Sayers Club where cover is usually free when there is not a big name concert happening around.

Take in the Fremont Street Experience

Fremont Street is where the Viva Vision LED light show takes place, just under the 1,500ft-long canopy all throughout the night. There are also local bands playing at any given moment. And, catch some bigger acts that play free in the summer. Previous ones include 3 Doors Down, Bret Michaels and Cheap Trick.

With just getting a bottle of wine, you can have a free cicchetti from the chef between 3-6pm. And your vino may also include free fruits, meats, marinated olives, bruschetta, vegetables and/or Italian cheeses!
