1. Visit Deutsche Ordens Kirche
Also known as Teutonic Order of Knights Church, this church was built in 1309 and is open every day.
2. See the Jewish Holocaust Remembrance Wall
Drop by this place located next to the Judengasse Museum.
3. Explore Portikus
It is a museum that holds small exhibits on the Alte Brucke, which features different exhibits every 6 weeks. This museum is closed on Mondays.
4. Jörge Ratgeb Frescos
Located in the Karmeliter Cloister, the stuff are painted from 1513-1521 and is open 7 days a week.
5. Go to the Liebfrauen Church
Also check out the Meditation Garden, all built in 1340.
6. Visit the Chinese Garden
Located in Bethmann Park, which is 2 blocks from Konstablerwache.
7. Explore Höchst
This is a secret gem of a neighborhood in Frankfurt. Farmers Market is available on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 07:00-13:00 including a market hall.
8. Klein Markt Halle
One of Frankfurt’s fabulous food halls.
9. Frankfurt City Cemetery
You are allowed to feel creepy but most of Europe’s cemetery are so peaceful, perfect place to stroll and are wonderful for photographers.
10. Enjoy the Atmosphere in Sachsenhausen
Soak up Frankfurt’s culture by walking around the Applewine pub district. Don’t forget to take a detour and stroll down the side streets for a site of unique stores, especially Wall Strasse, or head over to Schweizer Strasse.
11. Explore Bornheim’s Berger Strasse
Another place to take in Frankfurt’s culture is to have a stroll in this awesome street and go people watching and visit Farmers market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
12. See the I.G. Farben Building
This was once an American Army headquarters, one of the largest buildings in Europe and was converted into the Goethe University.
13. Visit the Korean Pavilion
Located in Grueneburg Park.
14. Drop by Commerz Bank
Walk through the lobby and gaze up through the Atrium. Open on weekdays only
15. Deutsche Bank
Have a glimpse of the interesting and interactive exhibits upstairs from the lobby to the left. Open on weekdays only.
16. Stroll along the side streets around the Kaiserdom
The place is filled with small galleries and antique stores.
17. Go to St. Peters’ Cemetery
This is Frankfurt’s oldest city graveyard, located directly behind Karstadt.
