Join Ranger Alejandra for a 1.5 mile leisurely stroll through the Presidio’s Main Post to explore the story of the African American “Buffalo Soldiers” on Sunday, September 17th, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in San Francisco, California.
Learn about their connection to the Presidio and other national parks, as well as their extraordinary contributions to our nation in a time of overt racism and segregation.
Also learn about how their actions helped facilitate many freedoms you enjoy today, including taking a hike in your national park.
