Join a free lecture about astronomy at the Observation Post at the Presidio on Tuesday, May 16th from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm in San Francisco, California.

Once monthly, the SFAA hosts distinguished guest speakers who are leaders in the fields of astronomy, physics and related disciplines and they present to SFAA Members the latest developments from cutting-edge scientific programs.

On Tuesday, they will be discussing about how the Kepler Space telescope is revealing the birthplaces of planets.

Held in the Presidio, Observation Post / Building 211 on the third Tuesday of every month, come early for coffee and light snacks at 7 pm, followed by the general meeting at 7:30 pm, and the lecture at 8 pm.
