You probably heard about the free bagel Mondays on 24th and Alabama Street in San Francisco. Not yet? Well, apparently, a lot of generous folks reside in the city by the bay, but the most generous of them all would be Danny Gabriner of Sour Flour.
On Monday, July 30, 2018, Danny bakes hundreds of fresh bagels and gives them away to the public. Fresh, handmade and boiled bagels are released starting 8 in the morning at La Victoria Bakery until they run out.
Sour Flour is also hosting classes for learning how to make your own bagel.
Sour Flour invented Bagel Mondays to provide bagels for free and they encourage home bakers to participate in this activity to get to know your neighbors and spread the love.
“Start your week off right with Bagel Monday,” they say.
