Attend a free live makeup tutorial with Joe Dulude II, a makeup artist best known for his makeup designs for the Tony and Oliver Award winning hit musical Wicked, which will be held at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts Cafe on Friday, January 6th from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm.

After doing Wicked, Joe has added plenty of Broadway credits, designing for Grease!, Dr. Zhivago, If/Then, The Wedding Singer, On the Town, Jekyll & Hyde, Follies, and more. Joe also teaches theatrical makeup at Pace University, the Hartt School, and Muhlenberg College.

For this Library program, Joe will be discussing his craft, and perform a live demonstration of his creative process by designing an original character with the help from the audience.

This event is free but a reservation is greatly encouraged. If you need assistance with online reservations, please approach the welcome desk at the Library for the Performing Arts’ Lincoln Center Plaza entrance, where volunteers are ready to reserve you a seat without using an emai.

The venue will be at the 2nd floor of the Cafe so ingress will be at the Cafe entrance by taking the stairs at the corner of Amsterdam Avenue and West 65th St.
