Join the free cooking demo and tasting with Robin at the Ferry Building in The Embarcadero on Saturday, September 23rd, from 10:30 am to 11:15 pm, in San Francisco, California.

A California native, Chef Adam Tortosa is the chef/owner of the Hayes Valley’s hippest sushi bar, Robin. After earning an international business degree from the University of Southern California, Tortosa geared his professional intentions toward a career in the kitchen.

With Hayes Valley as its backdrop, Robin features a hyper-seasonal menu offered as either an omakase experience for patrons at the bar or the choice of an ala carte menu or omakase in the main dining room. The Bay Area’s bounty is celebrated throughout the restaurant in everything from the locally sourced fish, house-made Japanese condiments, Jered’s Pottery tableware, custom artwork and design, and a sprinkling of Bay Area hip hop into the eclectic soundtrack.

All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.

This cooking demo is made possible by CUESA, which has over 100 food, fruit, and vegetable vendors on Saturdays and the entire Bay as its beautiful backdrop.
