Experience the “Heart of the City” Easter Sunday Farmers Market in UN Plaza on Sunday, April 16, 2017 in San Francisco, California. It is a uniquely independent, farmer-operated, nonprofit farmers market.

Around 30 local farmers and artisan food vendors provide a wide array of fresh local produce, pastas, bakery, hummus, kettle corn and farm products. This market is open year round, rain or shine, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sundays, and from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm un Wednesdays.

Part of Heart of the City Farmers Market mission is to bring healthy food and nutrition education outreach to a fresh food desert that lacks a grocery store. Since the market’s first day 1981, their farmers have been committed to helping to create a healthy Heart of the City.

The market is located along Market Street between 7th and 8th Streets above Civic Center BART Station. The Market Information Tent is near the intersection of Hyde and Fulton.
