Join REI’s Women Speakers Series for free on Wednesday, August 30th at Community Room at Threes Brewing from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Hear about the women who are making the outdoors inclusive and accessible to everyone, with August 30th’s talk focusing on rock climbing.
REI and OutdoorFest co-present the Women Speaker Series, a local platform for women to share stories about their lives and their work toward achieving gender equity in the outdoors in the Tri-State Area. Local events will be held on “Force Wednesdays” between May and September.
This month’s event in the series is titled “Anchor, Adapt, and Ascend: Using Climbing as a Road to Character and Community Building”.
