Last September, Budweiser and the ride-sharing company Lyft launched a program called “Give a Damn,” which gives discounts and free rides to all drivers to keep them off the road when they have had too much to drink.
Over the holidays, they are expanding the program to make sure partygoers are getting home safely, especially with the left to right parties. The team has been handing out 10,000 vouchers that are good any night between December 22 and New Year’s Eve from 10:00 pm until 2:00 am, as long as you are in New York, Florida, Washington D.C., Illinois, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Colorado.
Take note that the vouchers can be a little bit tricky to get your hands on. It is only available on Budweiser’s Facebook page. The first 10,000 adults who are at least 21 years old will score a voucher worth $10 off a ride with Lyft. Less than $10 ride? Then it’s definitely free.
The codes go quickly, so if you spot one, enter it into the Lyft app right away and just like that you’re home free.
