Enjoy Mondays and Fridays from June 5 to June 30, and journey through the Haight-Ashbury on a walking tour recapping the psychedelic events that created the hippy revolution and reshaped a generation.

About Summer of Love Tours: “The Free 50th Anniversary Summer of Love Tour takes you back in time to the 1960’s as we discuss how arts, politics, drugs, and local caring communities reshaped culture in San Francisco and around the world. On this tour you’ll see homes where famous musicians such as Janis Joplin and the Grateful Dead lived, relive monumental cultural movements, discover local secrets, and be part of the neighborhood story.”

This event is totally free and will start at 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Meeting point is underneath the Alamo Square Park sign, right across the street from the famous Painted Ladies houses (Corner of Grove and Steiner streets).
