Attend the free book launch of “The Bold Flavors of Paula Wolfert’s Renegade Life” on Tuesday, April 25th at Omnivore Books on Food from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in San Francisco, California.

Paula Wolferts is a legendary hero to some of our most influential chefs, from Yotam Ottolenghi to Alice Waters. In Traveling from Morocco to the Middle East, she uncovered ingredients and methods we now take for granted in her forty year career, from preserved lemons to Aleppo and Marash chilli pepper flakes.

She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2013, where this remarkable team kickstarted the book to introduce her to a new generation.

Omnivore Books on Food is a bookstore packed with different kinds new, antiquarian, and collectible titles all about food and cooking.

It frequently hosts events like author readings, food and drink tastings, chef talks, book signings, and cooking contests.
