Every first Friday of the month, Oakland presents First Fridays Block Party and it starts today, June 3, with free admission. What better way to celebrate the Warriors’ win against the Cleveland Cavaliers on the Game 1 of the NBA Finals than to head to Oakland’s KONO District and party the night away?
From 5-9:30pm, Telegraph and 27th is filled with galleries, artists’ collectives, street artists, local culinary artisans, performers, musicians, dancers, DJs and poets, gathering for the Oakland First Fridays.
A lot of people come not only from the Across the Bay Area but from anywhere just to see and experience this different kind of party. Be inspired, munch on delicious food, discover art, enjoy live music and explore the amazing and vibrant city of Oakland.
