Join the many community groups along with the other volunteers in Richmond, California in honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for a day of service to the community. The celebration will be held at the Richmond Greenway in Ohio Avenue and 8th Street on Monday, January 16th from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.
After the volunteer service projects takes place at 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, lunch will be served along with music, entertainment, and inspirational speakers to enjoy the afternoon.
This is your chance to help build a new public bicycle terrain park with Dirt World, create a rain garden with the Watershed Project, beautify the Green trail and park, plant trees with Groundwork Richmond, and more.
This event is free and open to the public but an RSVP is required.
