Join your fellow Emeryvillians this monday for a special Fourth of July celebration at Marina Park all day.
In addition to the spectacular activities with some of the greatest vantage points for many of the surrounding firework shows, you’ll be entertained with live music and local food carts.
A 4K Fun Run will also be held at the Emeryville Marina, which will start at 8 am.
Pray for a beautiful weather as many firework displays will be visible from Emeryville’s Marina Park. Fireworks are not actually set off from Marina Park, but it’s simply a good place to see other fireworks shows like Berkeley and San Francisco.
Bring your picnics, blankets, sweaters, baseballs and gloves, frisbees, and enjoy the relatively uncrowded spaces of Marina Park.
Please note, Powell Street will be closed to vehicles starting at 4 pm at Frontage Road, so plan ahead to park in the nearby streets, bring a wagon or walk/bike to Marina Park (approximately 1 mile from the street closure area).
