Diamond will be having a book talk and signing on his new memoir, “Searching for John Hughes: Or Everything I Thought I Needed to Know about Life I Learned from Watching ‘80s Movies.” The hilarious and poignant book is about the story of how a Jewish kid from a broken family in a Chicago suburb found comfort and connection in the people living in the suburban Chicago of John Hughes’ oeuvre who has the same situation as him.
