Sternberg’s new monograph Overspilling World features nearly two decades of work by the author and photographer. Also read some texts in the book from photographer Catherine Opie, filmmaler-photographer Wim Wenders, art historian Pepe Karmel, and curator Alexandra von Stosch.
The book chronicles Sternberg’s reveals how photography can make the complex imagery created by our minds. Without the manipulation of the digital and optical things, the artist works using disposable cameras and old iPhone cameras on her photographs.
Janet Sternburg lives and works in Los Angeles, California and in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Her awesome works have appeared in large portfolios in Aperture, The Behavior of Light, and Art Journal.
