Join The LuEsther T. Mertz Library of the New York Botanical Garden as they welcome Wikipedia editors to participate in this Edit-A-Thon focused on creating and enhancing pages related to the topic of “Plants and People.”
The event will be on Wednesday, January 25th from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at The New York Botanical Garden on Bronx, New York.
Editors will use the wide historic collections of the Mertz Library in order to make and edit existing pages. Training will be provided for those who have no prior experience editing Wikipedia*.

Attendees are required to bring their own laptops. A training session will be offered during the first hour of this event. New editors are encouraged to attend this training. Experienced editors may arrive at any point during the event’s duration.
