New York City Parks and the city’s Office of Media and Entertainment invite everyone for a free film!

Watch the 2017 film “Power Ranger” at Pena Herrera Park in Pena Herrera Playground in Brooklyn, NYC on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at 8:30 pm.

About the movie:

In this third retelling of the hit the superhero saga, five ordinary teens must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, they quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.

This 2017 reboot is the first blockbuster film to feature LGBTQ and autistic superheroes.

Please arrive before 8:30 PM to snag a sweet spot. A limited supply of chairs will be provided so feel free to bring some blankets and small chairs to sit on. For beverages, only bottled waters are allowed, no glass. Seats are on a first-come, first-served basis. Everyone is welcome!
