New York City Parks and the city’s Office of Media and Entertainment invite everyone for a free film!

Watch “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, NY on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at 8:30 pm.

About the movie:

Luke Skywalker’s peaceful and solitary existence gets upended when he encounters Rey, a young woman who shows strong signs of the Force. Her desire to learn the ways of the Jedi forces Luke to make a decision that changes their lives forever. Meanwhile, Kylo Ren and General Hux lead the First Order in an all-out assault against Leia and the Resistance for supremacy of the galaxy.

Please arrive before 8:00 PM to snag a sweet spot. A limited supply of chairs will be provided so feel free to bring some blankets and small chairs to sit on. For beverages, only bottled waters are allowed, no glass. Seats are on a first-come, first served basis. Everyone is welcome!
