New York City Parks and the city’s Office of Media and Entertainment invite everyone for a free film!

Watch “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” at Frederick Douglass Playground in Manhattan, NY on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at 8:30 pm.

About the movie:

A dark force threatens Alpha, a vast metropolis and home to species from a thousand planets. Special operatives Valerian and Laureline must race to identify the marauding menace and safeguard not just Alpha, but the future of the universe. PG-13.

Reminders Before You Go:
Please arrive before 7:30 PM to snag a sweet spot. A limited supply of chairs will be provided so feel free to bring some blankets and small chairs to sit on. For beverages, only bottled waters are allowed, no glass. Seats are on a first-come, first served basis. Everyone is welcome!
