About the City of God (Cidade de Deus):
This 2002 iconic film is set in the infamous “City of God” favela in Rio de Janiero and follows two kids whose paths diverge as one struggles to become a photographer and the other a crime kingpin. Based on 1997 novel of the same name by Paulo Lins, it is considered one of the best-edited films of all time based.
