About Purple Dreams:

Black youth stereotypes are turned upside down in the feature documentary film Purple Dreams. A two and a half year journey serves as an inspirational window into the lives of inner-city, at-risk students who succeed at their passion while embracing the transformative power of their arts education.

Reminders Before You Go:
Please arrive before 6:00 PM to snag a sweet spot. A limited supply of chairs will be provided so feel free to bring some blankets and small chairs to sit on. For beverages, only bottled waters are allowed, no glass. Seats are on a first-come, first served basis. Everyone is welcome!
