Catch the free launching of the book “The Sea Forager’s Guide to the Northern California Coast” at Omnivore Books on Food this coming Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm in San Francisco, California.

In the book, Kirk Lombard creates a depth of knowledge with wry humor and colourful style of storytelling to guide the reader’s adventure to dig clams, pick seaweeds and hook fish on their own.

The distinctive and stunning illustrations are by Leighton Kelly, which complement practical instructions for gathering a variety of fish and other seafood, and delicious recipes for what to do with the catch.

Omnivore Books on Food is a teeny Noe Valley bookshop that is packed with different kinds of titles about food and cooking.
