Julia Morgan Hall Open House with Docents
Since 2014, the UC Botanical Garden has been the home of famed architect Julia Morgan’s Senior Women’s Hall, built in 1911 and listed on both California and national historic registries. The building stands as a monument to the status of women at UC Berkeley, representing their first social center and once again, serves this social function in a new setting. Join Garden docents, to learn about Julia Morgan’s life and work and experience this architectural treasure, generally only open for special programs and private events.
