Off the Grid presents “Twilight at the Presidio,” a free campfire party at the Main Post Lawn, Presidio, San Francisco, which happens every Thursday from May 12 through October 6, 2016, 5-9pm.
Gather your friends and cozy up under the stars and lantern-lit cabanas, complete with cocktail service, fire pits and live music. Off the Grid makes sure your experience will be complete as street food vendors serve tapas-style dishes.
This year, the organizers strongly encourage everyone to enjoy the communal fire pits, no s’mores allowed though. No cabana or fire pit reservations, it’s first come first served. Parking is free after 6pm.
The line-ups this year are The Boneyard, An the Go, Lobsta Truck SF, Cheese Gone Wild, Drums & Crumbs, Moonraker Restaurant,Bombzies BBQ, Johnny Doughnuts, Tonli Dumplng House,ANZU to You, Capelo’s Barbecue, Me So Hungry Too, Southern Comfort Kitchen – “SoCo Kitchen” Mozzeria, The Chairman, Kokio Republic,THE TACO GUYS, Have You Found The Sweet Spot and Korean BOB CHA.
For those who don’t want to bring a car, there’s a free shuttle. The PresidiGo operates a route from downtown San Francisco to the Presidio and two routes within the park. The Downtown Express route picks up from the Transbay Terminal, Embarcadero BART, and Union Street/Van Ness Avenue before dropping off at the Presidio Transit Center. The Around the Park routes run two-continuous loops within the Presidio. Both routes originate at the Presidio Transit Center and connect with MUNI and Golden Gate Transit at several locations.
