Still have a bunch of national parks on your bucket list? Take a shuttle from San Francisco Public Library to several Cali national parks for free this Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm.

The historical heart of the Presidio, the Main Post, marks the site of the original Spanish presidio established in 1776, and has the oldest existing buildings in the Presidio! Stop by the new Presidio Visitor Center and learn about the park’s history, or relax on the parade grounds and enjoy the views. Journey down to El Polín Spring, at the heart of the Presidio’s largest watershed.
Join a free shuttle ride from the Main Library to the Presidio Main Post, and spend an afternoon with park rangers on a guided tour or bring a picnic to enjoy in the park!
Reserve your seat in advance by contacting the Main Library. Simply ask a librarian to help you—and up to a group of 5—sign up for a shuttle trip. Additionally, a limited number of seats can be reserved here on Eventbrite up to 6 weeks in advance. Click “REGISTER” to check availability and sign up. Invite your friends and family to sign up too!
The shuttle will pick you up and return you to the library. Please be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure, as the shuttle will leave promptly on time. A staff member will ride with you on the shuttle and bring you to the park site. We will provide program information and maps in English, Spanish, and Chinese. Restrooms are available at the park.
