Everyone, surfers and non-surfers alike, are invited to take part in an epic day at Ocean Beach (Stairwell 17), San Francisco and celebrate International Surfing Day with the San Francisco Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation.

The event will happen this Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 8am to 2pm. There are no registration and fees required! Free coffees will be given so bring your own cup.

364 days of the year, the Surfrider Foundation and the coastal defender network work tirelessly to protect our coasts.

Here’s the 2016 Schedule:

  • Paddle Out: 8 – 10 am
  • Beach Cleanup: 10 am to noon
  • Celebration: 12 – 2 pm (In past years, the celebration has included Sand Olympics, a bonfire and a uke jam.)
