Rabih Alameddine, finalist of the National Book Award, will be throwing a book release party today, October 4, 2016 at 7:00pm in City Lights Books, San Francisco, California.

The incendiary novel is about an Arab-American poet, who spends his adult life in San Franciso which spans the AIDS decades, and his tough and funny battle against forgetting and remembering the events of his life.

Alameddine creates a portrait of a man in an era of social and political upheaval, after his success on his previous book, An Unnecessary Woman.
