This year’s Earth Day provides a variety of opportunities for everyone to do something meaningful for our planet by giving back to the state parks in the communities.

Thousands of volunteers will be needed throughout California to construct and update structures for ADA compliance, clear trash and clean graffiti, remove invasive plants and replace them with native species, renovate campgrounds, maintain trails, and more.

This Saturday, April 21, 2018, you may select a park of your own choice during the 20th Annual Earth Day Volunteering Day. You are encouraged to join this important occasion, to do your part to restore and care for the places where you live, work, and play for this and future generations. Make sure to sign this waiver and bring it with you to the event.

If you’re registering a group, be sure everyone brings their own copy.

Over the past years, 83,785 participants have built bridges, split rail fences and boardwalks, conducted river, lake and beach cleanups, restored trails and habitats with native plants, and installed recycling bins and irrigation systems.
