Join Greenbelt educators in Staten Island for a free post-Thanksgiving hike on November 25th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

This is an annual event that they organize every after Thanksgiving Day. Burn those fats from eating too much turkey buy taking a hike in the Greenbelt’s tranquil woods, plus a quick visit to the LaTourette house!

This hike is moderately paced and can cover over 2.5 hours. Ages 10 years and over are encouraged to join. You must dress appropriately for hiking and weather conditions.

The Greenbelt Conservancy is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with New York City Parks to preserve the Greenbelt’s 2,800 acres of parks, open spaces, an extensive trail system, and public facilities in central Staten Island.

Although free, this event funded by the City Council member needs a registration. Call (718)351-3450 or email naturecenter@sigreenbelt.org for inquiries.
